If your Google Business Profile is suspended, do not rush to create another listing or repeatedly change its details. First work out what may have triggered the action, correct genuine problems and follow Google's official process.
Check the profile against Google's rules
Review the business name, address, phone number, category, service area and any duplicate listings. The profile should describe a real business and its real customer-facing location or service-area operation. Do not add extra keywords to the business name, use a location where you do not operate, or create profiles for towns you serve remotely.
Keep evidence that supports the business information, such as a website, branded paperwork or location details. Only submit documents through Google's official process and do not send sensitive records to people claiming they can guarantee reinstatement.
Correct the issue, then appeal once carefully
Read the reason given in the account and the current eligibility guidance. Make accurate corrections before submitting an appeal. Keep your explanation factual: identify the business, explain the changes made and attach only the evidence Google asks for.
Avoid paying an unofficial “reinstatement expert” who promises a result. No outside party can guarantee Google's decision. Keep customers informed through your website or another channel you control while the profile is unavailable.
Reduce future disruption
Keep your website and contact details current, maintain your own customer records and do not rely on one directory for every enquiry. Our service-area setup guide covers common profile choices.
Start with Google's Business Profile guidelines and its appeal tool and instructions. Policies and appeal steps may change; follow the instructions shown in your account.
