A marketing plan for a tradesman should fit around jobs, travel and quoting—not create a second full-time job. Use one short review each month to keep your business visible and notice what is bringing suitable enquiries.

Week one: check the basics

Review your phone number, service list, coverage area, opening information and website contact route. Correct any old details on the profiles you actively manage. If the area you serve has changed, update your website and Google Business Profile.

Week two: collect proof from recent work

Choose one or two completed jobs worth showing. Save a wide photo and a useful detail, write down what the customer needed and what you completed, and ask permission before publishing. Keep private details out of captions and images.

Week three: publish and respond

Share a useful example of your work or answer a question customers often ask. Set aside time to respond to genuine comments and enquiries. A post that sits unanswered may not help someone who is trying to decide whether to contact you.

Week four: review what happened

Note which posts or pages led to relevant conversations, quote requests or booked work. Do not judge the month only by likes or one search-position check. Keep the activity that is practical and useful; adjust one thing at a time.
